Better not to update the Samsung Galaxy Note 2: unresolved damage - OptiMagazine

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 upgraded to Android 4.3 is causing a lot of problems to the owners, who would much prefer to go back Jelly Bean to version 4.1.2, but without power.

We remind you that the upgrade has been issued in the first instance for models no brand and screen-Vodafone (package N7100XXUEMK9), then to make its appearance on branded Three Italian in reference to the firmware N7100XXUEML2 , with build dates even more recently. Unfortunately, this latest release has generated a serious problem, which remains unresolved even with a hard reset. We talk about the loss of the radio signal, which is tormenting the majority of those who have decided to give confidence to the update.

The cause of the problem would be found in the ‘zero dell’IMEI , which implies, in fact, the failure to record the reference network. There is no way to reset the device to the previous conditions, if not by going from a Samsung service point to rearrange everything in the lab.

Unfortunately this is not the only problem plaguing the owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Three brands, subject to excessive delays even for simple tasks (search for a contact in the phonebook) and malfunctions of applications, which often and willingly going to crash.

On balance, the release N7100XXUEML2 was even much worse than the N7100XXUEMK9, already full of bugs. The producer will definitely be forced to meddle with the code to run for cover. A device like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 certainly deserves a different treatment. At the moment, you should not update the terminal while waiting for better solutions.
